Apply Now for CrossCulture Programme

From now on, professionals and volunteers between the ages of 23 and 45 can apply for the “CrossCulture Programme” 2018 initiated by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen). Applicants can submit their documents until 12 January 2018 on our online application platform:

The CrossCulture Programme (CCP) provides opportunities for young people from abroad and from Germany to spend a few months working in different cultures. The programme is designed for people who are committed to improving society through their work in relevant organisations. For a period of two to three months, they live, work and learn in a different country and culture.

Each year, up to 100 professionals and volunteers from more than 35 countries take part in the CrossCulture Programme. The majority come from Muslim countries, such as Saudi Arabia. Participants work in a wide range of fields, including civic education, media and environmental protection.

How and when does it start?

In 2018, ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) will set up the CrossCulture Programme for the 14th time. It is essential for the applicants to have good knowledge of English and to be closely involved in an organisation in their home country. Applications for CCP are to be submitted online via our  application portal. The filled in application form along with all required documents are to be uploaded during the process. Applicants should make sure to have all necessary documents ready when starting the application process: a letter of motivation, a recommendation letter by the home organisation, a CV and a portrait picture.
